Every path leads to the same place: the surrender-based method, a real facilitator credential, and the confidence to hold Breathwork for real people. You learn safe, trauma-informed facilitation and the business side of filling your first rooms.

Whichever format you choose, you train directly with Ryan and Shelby in a small cohort, and you keep the graduate community and mentorship long after your final day.

We built the online cohort for people who can't travel, or who simply want to start online. Whatever your reason, it gets you there. That said, if you can make an in-person intensive work, we always encourage it. Breathing in a room with your cohort is something a screen can't fully recreate.

Trained in Arizona Since 2018

Liquid Breathwork is an Arizona company. Founder Ryan McBurney led his first Breathwork session here in 2018, and the surrender-based method taught in this training was built and refined in this state, not imported from somewhere else.

Co-founder Shelby Von Oepen, RN BSN, brings clinical and somatic depth to every cohort, so the Arizona training pairs real facilitation practice with real safety training. You are not learning a franchise script. You are learning the method from the people who created it.

  • Serving the whole Valley. Students train in from Phoenix, Scottsdale, Tempe, and Mesa for the in-person intensive.
  • Reachable from across the state. Tucson, Flagstaff, and Prescott students regularly make the drive in for training weekends.
  • Small cohorts, on purpose. In-person training is capped at 6 students so everyone gets real practice time and direct feedback.

Our Phoenix Training

The Arizona intensive is a three-day, in-person facilitator training held in the Phoenix metro. You practice facilitation on real bodies from day one, lead a full Breathwork session before you leave, and get direct feedback from Ryan and Shelby the whole way through.

Tuition is $1,997, with the first 3 spots in each cohort at $1,697 early bird until they sell, and monthly payment plans available. The Phoenix intensive is our Arizona flagship, but it is not the only path to the same credential. Two more formats teach the identical surrender-based method if the timing or travel does not work for you.

How We Hold the Room

Trauma-Informed, Always

Every Liquid Breathwork session is trauma-informed. You set the pace, you stay in control, and nothing is forced. We guide you inward through gentle surrender, never outward through forced catharsis or screaming. Integration support is always offered, and our door is open if you need to talk.
