Honest About the Travel

Why Leave LA to Get Certified

We will be straight with you. We do not run a training inside Los Angeles. LA has no shortage of programs, and that is part of the point. Ours is different on purpose: a small, lakefront immersion away from the noise, where the work actually lands.

From LA it is a short flight into Reno-Tahoe, about an hour in the air, then a 45-minute drive to the lake. You step out of traffic and screens and into four days on the water with a small group. For a lot of LA practitioners, getting out of the city is the reason the training sticks.

  • A short flight or a scenic drive. About an hour to Reno-Tahoe from LAX, or a beautiful long drive north through California.
  • Small and surrender-based. Not a packed LA workshop. A close lakefront cohort with real practicum time.
  • You leave the city to do the work. Then bring a grounded, trauma-informed method back to your LA clients.
Why Train With Us

What the Lake Tahoe Retreat Gives You

The Lake Tahoe retreat teaches the surrender-based method Liquid Breathwork is known for, across four days of in-person training during a five-night lakefront stay. You earn the Liquid Breathwork facilitator credential. There are two tiers:

OptionPriceWhat's Included
Retreat + Lodging$3,250Stay at the lakefront cabin, on the water
Retreat Only$1,997Same training, you book your own room nearby

We teach more than breath. You leave with the methodology, the safety training, and the business groundwork: pricing, marketing, and how to fill your first sessions back home in the Los Angeles market. Mentorship from Ryan and Shelby continues long after the retreat.

Already coaching, teaching yoga, or running a wellness practice in LA? Breathwork certification may be the most powerful tool for deepening what you offer. For full retreat details, dates, and itinerary, see the Lake Tahoe certification retreat page.

How We Hold the Room

Trauma-Informed, Always

Every Liquid Breathwork session is trauma-informed. You set the pace, you stay in control, and nothing is forced. We guide you inward through gentle surrender, never outward through forced catharsis or screaming. Integration support is always offered, and our door is open if you need to talk.
