Same Method, Every Path

What You Walk Away With

Every path leads to the same place: the surrender-based method, a real facilitator credential, and the confidence to hold Breathwork for real people. You learn safe, trauma-informed facilitation and the business side of filling your first rooms.

Whichever format you choose, you train directly with Ryan and Shelby in a small cohort, and you keep the graduate community and mentorship long after your final day.

We built the online cohort for people who can't travel, or who simply want to start online. Whatever your reason, it gets you there. That said, if you can make an in-person intensive work, we always encourage it. Breathing in a room with your cohort is something a screen can't fully recreate.

What counts as an affordable Breathwork certification?

Not the lowest sticker. Under $500 buys recorded videos. Real information, zero live practice. Nobody watches you facilitate, and facilitation is the skill.

Live certification, where a teacher watches you guide real people and corrects you, runs $1,500 to $10,000+. Our 12-week online cohort at $1,497 sits at the affordable end of that tier on purpose: live weekly calls, real practice teaching, certified for life, no subscription. The full breakdown lives on our affordable Breathwork certification page.

If you searched for a cheap Breathwork certification, what you probably want is the most training for the least money. That math points to live training at the low end of the range, not the cheapest video course.

Krystal, Liquid Breathwork facilitator

Krystal - Realtor, nurse, LBW facilitator

“I was really looking for something that was more gentle, more supportive ... and Liquid Breathwork delivered just that.”

She arrived a beginner, after one Breathwork class elsewhere that felt like a lot. She left certain that everything we need is already within us.

“I felt like that one session of Breathwork was more impactful than multiple sessions of EMDR that I received in therapy.”

He now guides Liquid Breathwork along with practicing as a clinical psychologist.

He has run a class or two every month since April under his own brand.

Brittany Prince guiding a Breathwork class

Brittany Prince - LBW facilitator, owner of Awakened Prana

“The group calls are supportive and range from business growth to breaking down student’s teachings for feedback.”

Weekly classes, held so consistently that three of her breathers came and got certified in Liquid Breathwork too.

What I've Spent on My Own Breathwork Training

I've personally invested just shy of $20,000 in Breathwork training: the SOMA Breath certification, several Wim Hof Method programs and a live event with Wim himself, an in-person somatic Breathwork training with its online program, and a 21-day retreat camping in the Baja desert near Cabo with Dan Brulé, who has taught breathing for roughly 50 years. That retreat shaped the surrender-based style Liquid Breathwork is known for. This month, Shelby and I head to the Netherlands to train with Kasper van der Meulen of Breathwork Masterclass, my fourth certification. I've heard from many facilitators I trust that he is the best teacher in the space, and we're taking his final retreat.

I share that because price only makes sense next to value. Some of the most expensive programs taught me what I didn't want to teach. The pushy, cathartic style wasn't for me, and learning that cost real money. Our Breathwork facilitator training distills what actually mattered from all of it.

Beyond Tuition

The Additional Costs Nobody Mentions

  • Sound setup: a speaker, a microphone, and a bowl or two stays under $1,000. Upgrade as you grow.
  • Liability insurance: under $100 per year.
  • Music: Spotify. That's it.
  • Website: around $20 per year, and optional at the start.
  • CRM and email tools: skip them early. Text people, post on social.
  • Ongoing program subscriptions: some certifications keep charging after tuition. 9D Breathwork requires a monthly subscription for its technology and resources, and SOMA Breath runs a similar subscription for its music library. They license these things out. If you're looking into those programs, ask what you lose access to when you stop paying.

With Liquid Breathwork, you get certified once and you're certified for life. No required subscription, no ongoing fees to keep access to what you already paid for.

Keeping it simple at the start and still filling your class is something we teach directly, from experience. Filling rooms is how you make money, create abundance, and create real impact for your community.

It doesn't happen overnight, and we cover the business groundwork, not just the breath. Already running a wellness practice? Breathwork certification may be the most powerful tool for deepening what you offer your existing clients. Curious about the career itself? Read how to become a Breathwork facilitator.

Common Questions

Breathwork Certification Cost FAQ

How much does Breathwork certification cost?

From about $1,500 to over $10,000. Liquid Breathwork runs $1,497 to $1,997 depending on format. SOMA Breath has been quoted around $8,000 and Pause Breathwork at $7,000 to $8,000 on sales calls.

Are there payment plans for Breathwork certification?

Yes. Deposits and flexible payment plans are available on all of our formats. Most programs offer installments, so compare the total and what's included, not the sticker.

What costs come after Breathwork certification?

Less than people expect: a starter sound setup under $1,000, insurance under $100 a year, Spotify for music, and about $20 a year for a website you don't even need on day one. Watch for ongoing subscriptions at other programs (9D's technology, SOMA's music library). With us there's no required subscription. You're certified for life.

What is the most affordable Breathwork certification?

Self-paced video courses start around $12 to $99, and budget online programs like Loka run about $395. The most affordable live certification tier starts around $1,500: our 12-week online cohort is $1,497 with live weekly calls and real practice teaching. Affordable should mean the most live training per dollar, not the lowest sticker.

Is a cheap online Breathwork certification worth it?

A $99 video course can teach theory, but nobody watches you facilitate, and facilitation is the skill you're buying. If budget is tight, a live program at the affordable end of the range or a payment plan beats a cheap course you'll outgrow in a month.
