What You Walk Away With

Every path leads to the same place: the surrender-based method, a real facilitator credential, and the confidence to hold Breathwork for real people. You learn safe, trauma-informed facilitation and the business side of filling your first rooms.

Whichever format you choose, you train directly with Ryan and Shelby in a small cohort, and you keep the graduate community and mentorship long after your final day.

We built the online cohort for people who can't travel, or who simply want to start online. Whatever your reason, it gets you there. That said, if you can make an in-person intensive work, we always encourage it. Breathing in a room with your cohort is something a screen can't fully recreate.

Breathwork Training for Austin: Atlanta or Scottsdale

The shorter trip or the sooner date. That is the choice from Austin.

Atlanta is the shorter trip by road and by air: about 920 miles against about 1,000 to Scottsdale, and a little over two hours nonstop against about two and a half. Atlanta runs March 19-21, 2027, and its venue is still TBD.

Scottsdale is the sooner date, February against March. It lives on the main certification page, and we are back in the Phoenix area in November 2027 if neither month works.

Both run Friday to Sunday. Arrive at 8:45, start at 9, finish around 6. Most people fly in Thursday. Watch the clock: Scottsdale is an hour behind Austin in February, and Atlanta is an hour ahead.

In person in Atlanta

Flying Out of AUS

Austin-Bergstrom sits about five miles southeast of downtown. The South Terminal is closed, so every flight uses the Barbara Jordan Terminal. Delta and Southwest fly nonstop to Atlanta, Southwest and American to Phoenix.

No train reaches the airport yet. CapMetro Route 20 runs from the lower level outside baggage claim, about 35 minutes to downtown.

On the Atlanta end, land at the Domestic Terminal and downtown is a short MARTA ride. Phoenix is Sky Harbor, a Southwest and American hub. There is no light rail into Scottsdale, so plan a ride from the airport.

Looking for Breathwork classes around Austin rather than a certification? Start with our Breathwork Austin listings instead.

February in Scottsdale, March in Atlanta

February is the tail of cedar season in Central Texas. Scottsdale that month runs about four degrees warmer than home, with less than half the rain. Bring layers for the cool mornings.

Atlanta in March runs about seven degrees cooler than the same month at home. Tree pollen peaks in late March. If it sets you off, pack the allergy medicine.

SXSW takes over Austin in March too, so book the AUS flight early.

Coming from across Central Texas

Everyone in Greater Austin flies out of the same airport. Open the block that fits.

From Round Rock, Georgetown and the rest of Greater Austin

Round Rock, Cedar Park, Leander, Georgetown and Pflugerville all sit on the north side, and AUS sits on the southeast side, so you cross town to fly. Leave a margin. From Leander or Cedar Park, the Red Line runs to downtown, and Route 20 picks up from there.

San Marcos and Kyle come up I-35 from the south. Bastrop comes in from the east, and the Hill Country towns come in from the west. Same airport, same flights.

Between online calls, practice where you like: the Butler Trail around Lady Bird Lake, the grass at Barton Springs, or your own living room.

Choosing Atlanta in March or Scottsdale in February

Atlanta is about 85 road miles closer and the shorter flight. It is also the later date, March 19-21, and the venue is still TBD. Your deposit transfers to another training date. Refunds are handled case by case.

Scottsdale is the sooner date, on the main certification page, and it lands in a drier, warmer desert month while cedar is still going at home. Atlanta's month is cooler, with tree pollen near its peak. Clocks: Arizona stays on Mountain Standard Time all year, so Scottsdale runs an hour behind Austin and Atlanta an hour ahead.

If neither month works, we are back in the Phoenix area in November 2027. Pick the month that fits your calendar.

Breathwork certification for the rest of Texas

From most of Texas, the trip is a flight, and this page is written for the Austin end of it. Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston and San Antonio each have their own page, built around their own airports.

If you sit between two of them, read both and pick the airport you would rather drive to. Whichever page you start from, the trainings are the same: Atlanta in March, Scottsdale in February, and online from home.

What Our Graduates Say

Matthew Seibert, Liquid Breathwork certification graduate

Matthew Seibert - Healing practitioner, LBW graduate

“One of the things that really stood out for me during the training was a lot of the hands-on practice that we got, all the reps. It helped me feel more prepared and more confident in my ability to facilitate Breathwork on my own.”

He chose Liquid Breathwork after comparing several certification programs, and now brings Breathwork into the healing work he already does.

Sisily Chevalier, Liquid Breathwork facilitator

Sisily Chevalier - Owner of Body by Sisily, LBW facilitator

“So grateful for both of you, Ryan and Shelby. You’re changing my life right as we speak ... the ladies both booked for next week for paid sessions.”

After getting certified she had paid one-on-ones and a group session booked in Santa Clarita.

Krystal, Liquid Breathwork facilitator

Krystal - Realtor, nurse, LBW facilitator

“I was really looking for something that was more gentle, more supportive ... and Liquid Breathwork delivered just that.”

She arrived a beginner, after one Breathwork class elsewhere that felt like a lot. She left certain that everything we need is already within us.

He now guides Liquid Breathwork along with practicing as a clinical psychologist.

Kat McGill guiding a Breathwork session at a music festival

Kat McGill - Chef and LBW facilitator, owner of Breath and Blossom

Joseph Norris, Liquid Breathwork facilitator in Flagstaff

Joseph Norris - LBW facilitator and dad, owner of TranceSENDent Breathwork, Flagstaff, Arizona

“The training gave me the confidence to speak with knowledge about breathwork ... the experiencer is put more at ease and able to go deeper knowing that what is happening is normal and ok.”

He has run a class or two every month since April under his own brand.

Brittany Prince guiding a Breathwork class

Brittany Prince - LBW facilitator, owner of Awakened Prana

What the Training Covers

The curriculum is the same in Atlanta, Scottsdale and online. You learn to guide a full Liquid Breathwork session and to hold the room while someone goes deep.

Pacing is trauma-informed. The breather sets the speed and nothing is forced. You also learn the safety side: what to watch for, and when to slow someone down.

Then the business side, so you go home ready to lead sessions for your own people: pricing, booking, and filling a first session. Mentorship from Ryan and Shelby continues after the weekend.
