Salt Lake City Course Date

Salt Lake City Weekend

April 2027

Exact dates still to be set. Flexible refund policy. Transfer or refund within 30 days of dates and location being settled.

It runs on the same weekend as the Breathwork certification in Salt Lake City training, with the same two instructors. Salt Lake City is the one Utah weekend. West Valley City is next door. Ogden is up I-15, Provo and Orem are down it, and Park City is over the canyon, all close enough to drive in each morning.

What You Learn in 24 Hours

  • Breath science from a Registered Nurse. Respiratory anatomy, CO2 and the vagus nerve.
  • Ten breathing techniques for client use. The physiological sigh, breath holds and box breathing among them.
  • Ethical hands-on touch. Fully clothed, with consent, within your scope of practice.
  • A 6-phase session structure. Client screening, informed consent and supervised practice.

You receive a Certificate of Completion documenting 24 CE hours. Full attendance is required, with no partial credit. See the full schedule and course policies.

Who Teaches the Course

Ryan McBurney teaches the techniques and session structure, and Shelby Von Oepen, RN, teaches breath science and client safety. They co-founded Liquid Breathwork, a Breathwork practice based in Phoenix, Arizona.
