Every path leads to the same place: the surrender-based method, a real facilitator credential, and the confidence to hold Breathwork for real people. You learn safe, trauma-informed facilitation and the business side of filling your first rooms.
Whichever format you choose, you train directly with Ryan and Shelby in a small cohort, and you keep the graduate community and mentorship long after your final day.
We built the online cohort for people who can't travel, or who simply want to start online. Whatever your reason, it gets you there. That said, if you can make an in-person intensive work, we always encourage it. Breathing in a room with your cohort is something a screen can't fully recreate.
Minnesota isn't on the training calendar. The closest training to the Twin Cities is Milwaukee in June 2027, and the easy way there is the train from St. Paul Union Depot or a nonstop out of MSP.
Friday to Sunday, doors at 8:45, first breath at 9, done around 5. From the Cities that's an overnight trip: ride or fly in Thursday, stay through Sunday, and call it a long weekend on Lake Michigan.
If June is the wrong month, Atlanta in March 2027 is one Delta nonstop from MSP, and the certification is the same one.
Amtrak runs two daily trains from St. Paul Union Depot to Milwaukee, the Borealis and the Empire Builder. Both stop at Milwaukee Downtown, and the Borealis also stops at the Milwaukee Airport station.
No car needed to reach the depot. The METRO Green Line runs from Target Field in downtown Minneapolis along University Avenue and ends right in front of Union Depot.
MSP sits about 10 miles from both downtowns, on the METRO Blue Line. It's a Delta hub and Sun Country's home base, and both fly MSP to Milwaukee (MKE) nonstop. Schedules change, so check your airline. Delta also flies MSP to Atlanta nonstop for March 2027.
It's I-94 across Wisconsin, about 337 miles downtown to downtown. We haven't timed it, so check your own route for a Thursday.
Milwaukee in June runs mid 70s by day and high 50s at night. Locals say "cooler by the lake," so pack a layer for the lakefront.
A Minnesota June is humid and stormy, so the rain shell you'd carry at home covers Milwaukee too.
One note on rooms. Summerfest takes three weekends from late June into early July. Once our dates are set, book early if they land near it.
The train plan above works for most of Minnesota, and with a flight it works from Kansas City or Omaha too. Open the block that fits.
Breathwork certification for St. Paul readers means a ride from Union Depot in Lowertown, where both trains board. Live in Red Wing or Winona? Both are stops on the same line, so board closer to home. La Crosse, across the river in Wisconsin, is the stop after that, which covers the Coulee Region as well.
St. Cloud has an Empire Builder stop of its own, so central Minnesota rides without changing trains.
Breathwork certification for Minnesota, then, means one train east to Milwaukee and home again with the certification. Want a class in the meantime? Our St. Paul near-me page lists what's around.
Kansas City, Missouri is a flight either way. Southwest flies MCI to Milwaukee nonstop, and the Phoenix-area trainings on this page are the other option if you would rather head for the desert.
Omaha, Nebraska has no nonstop to Milwaukee, so plan on a connection through a hub, or drive up to the Cities and ride the train from Union Depot. We haven't timed the Omaha drive, so check your own route.
Both cities can also look at Atlanta in March 2027. The certification is the same; only the month and the weather change.

In Milwaukee you learn to guide someone else through a Liquid Breathwork session, from the opening breath to the quiet at the end. The full curriculum is on the hub page.
Every session is trauma-informed. The person on the mat decides how deep it goes. We don't push anyone into a big release, and you learn what to do when someone needs to slow down.
Safety has its own block, contraindications and waivers included. Then the business side: what to charge, and where to find your first rooms, whether that's Nordeast, Uptown, Linden Hills or Lowertown in St. Paul. Mentorship with Ryan and Shelby keeps going after the three days. 55 students have enrolled so far.

Yes. Two Amtrak trains a day, the Borealis and the Empire Builder, leave St. Paul Union Depot and stop at Milwaukee Downtown; the Borealis also stops at Milwaukee Airport. From downtown Minneapolis, the METRO Green Line ends right in front of the depot. Plan to arrive the day before the training starts.
