How These Statistics Were Checked
Every research figure above was read at the primary source, the paper's own abstract or the Global Wellness Institute's published page, not from a summary or a search snippet. Each line quotes only what that source found. The Balban study, for example, found better mood and a lower breathing rate; it did not measure anxiety relief in under a minute, so we do not say it did.
We publish no Breathwork market-size figure. The estimates in circulation disagree by billions of dollars and sit behind paid reports we could not open, so none of them meets the standard for this page.
Our own numbers come from the same records that run the site. The student count and the Google rating are pulled at build time from our enrollment records and our Google Business Profile, so the figure on this page can never be older than its verified date. We publish one headcount only, students enrolled, because it is the one we can count cleanly.
