Every path leads to the same place: the surrender-based method, a real facilitator credential, and the confidence to hold Breathwork for real people. You learn safe, trauma-informed facilitation and the business side of filling your first rooms.
Whichever format you choose, you train directly with Ryan and Shelby in a small cohort, and you keep the graduate community and mentorship long after your final day.
We built the online cohort for people who can't travel, or who simply want to start online. Whatever your reason, it gets you there. That said, if you can make an in-person intensive work, we always encourage it. Breathing in a room with your cohort is something a screen can't fully recreate.
You leave the Triangle for either one.
Washington, D.C. in May 2027 is the closest training by road and by rail. Atlanta, Georgia in March 2027 is the earlier of the two, and it is the only Southeast training on the 2027 calendar.
Both run 3 days, Friday to Sunday. Arrive at 8:45, start at 9, finish around 5. Most people travel Thursday or early Friday.

RDU sits between Raleigh and Durham. Delta flies nonstop to Atlanta and American flies nonstop to Reagan National. In Atlanta, a short MARTA ride from the Domestic Terminal and you are downtown. At DCA, a short Metro ride and you are in the city.
Prefer the train? The Carolinian runs once a day, boards at Durham, Cary and Raleigh Union Station, and pulls into Washington Union Station. No airport at either end.
Driving, D.C. is about 260 miles north. Atlanta is about 400 miles on I-85, which runs straight from Durham. Raleigh drivers pick it up via I-40.
Atlanta in March runs a little milder than home, nights in the mid 40s. Pack what you would wear here plus a rain layer. Atlanta tree pollen peaks in late March, so bring your allergy medicine if you react. It matters at a breath training.
D.C. in May feels close to a Triangle May, a few degrees cooler by day.
Pick your side of the Triangle.
Breathwork certification from Durham is the easy case. Bull City sits right on I-85, so the drive to Atlanta in March starts at your front door, and the Carolinian boards at Durham station for D.C. in May. Chapel Hill starts the same way, from Durham station or RDU.
Cary has its own Carolinian stop, and Morrisville sits next to the airport. If you want to think it over on foot first, the American Tobacco Trail starts in downtown Durham, across from the ballpark.
Atlanta, Georgia is the earlier of the two, in March 2027, and it is the only Southeast training on the calendar. Washington, D.C. in May 2027 is closer by road and has the train. The weather is close to home either way.

The Triangle is named for NC State, Duke and UNC, so a lot of you spend your days in a lab, a clinic or a classroom. This training hands you a practice you can lead.
You learn the surrender-based method behind Liquid Breathwork and finish with the Liquid Breathwork facilitator credential. The full curriculum is on the certification page.
Pacing is trauma-informed. The breather sets the speed and nothing is forced. You learn where the edges are and how to keep someone safe near them.
Then the business side: what to charge, how to fill a room, and how to keep going once you are home. Ryan and Shelby stay on as mentors after the weekend.
