What You Walk Away With

Every path leads to the same place: the surrender-based method, a real facilitator credential, and the confidence to hold Breathwork for real people. You learn safe, trauma-informed facilitation and the business side of filling your first rooms.

Whichever format you choose, you train directly with Ryan and Shelby in a small cohort, and you keep the graduate community and mentorship long after your final day.

We built the online cohort for people who can't travel, or who simply want to start online. Whatever your reason, it gets you there. That said, if you can make an in-person intensive work, we always encourage it. Breathing in a room with your cohort is something a screen can't fully recreate.

Breathwork Training From Cincinnati, Two Ways

None of our trainings are in Ohio or Kentucky. From Cincinnati, it's a trip: fly south in March, or drive north in June.

Atlanta (March 19-21) is the easy flight. Delta and Frontier both fly it nonstop from CVG. Atlanta is on Eastern time like home, so there's no clock to reset.

Milwaukee (June 11-13) is the road trip. No airline flies CVG to Milwaukee nonstop, so you head up through Indianapolis and around Chicago. Milwaukee runs on Central time, so you pick up an hour driving north.

Neither one is the better trip. Pick the month that fits, and whether you'd rather fly or drive. Both go Friday to Sunday, 9am to 6pm. Get to the room a few minutes early.

In person in Milwaukee

Three days with Ryan and Shelby, Friday to Sunday. You guide real breathers in the room and get coached while you do it.

Getting There: Your Airport Is in Kentucky

Locals already know this one. CVG isn't in Ohio. It sits across the river in Boone County, Kentucky, and it's where most of these trips start.

Flying to Atlanta

Delta and Frontier fly CVG to Atlanta nonstop. Once you land, you can skip the rental car. MARTA's Airport station is at the west end of the Domestic Terminal, and Red and Gold line trains head north through Five Points and into Midtown.

Rather drive? I-75 goes the whole way, over the Brent Spence Bridge and down through Lexington, Knoxville and Chattanooga. Plan on a long day's drive.

Driving to Milwaukee

With no nonstop from CVG, Milwaukee is most of a day's drive north. Go up on Thursday, so you sleep before the 9am start, and leave room for Chicago traffic on the way.

Amtrak's Cardinal stops at Union Terminal three times a week, leaving for Chicago after midnight. From Chicago, the Hiawatha runs up to Milwaukee.

Other nonstops from CVG

If a Phoenix-area training fits your calendar better, Southwest flies to Phoenix Sky Harbor and Allegiant flies to Phoenix-Mesa. For D.C., American Eagle and Delta Connection fly to Reagan National, and Southwest flies to BWI.

Packing for Atlanta in March or Milwaukee in June

Atlanta in March runs more than 10 degrees warmer than March back home. Expect highs in the mid 60s and nights in the mid 40s. It's one of Atlanta's wetter months, so bring a rain layer.

Late March is also when Atlanta's tree pollen peaks. Pine makes the yellow film on parked cars, but oak and birch set off most of the allergies. If that's you, pack your medicine. You'll be breathing deep for three days.

Milwaukee in June: mid 70s by day, high 50s at night. A Cincinnati June runs warmer than that, so throw a sweater in the bag for the evenings.

Coming from across the Midwest

Greater Cincinnati spills into three states. Open the one that sounds like home.

Across the river: Northern Kentucky

Covington is a walk across the Roebling bridge from downtown, and CVG is in Boone County. So if you live in NKY, you start closest to the airport, and the Atlanta flight is right there.

Want to breathe with a group before you commit? Look through Breathwork classes around Covington.

Further south in Kentucky, Louisville sits between the same two trips: Atlanta in March, Milwaukee in June.

From Dayton, southwest Ohio and southeastern Indiana

From Dayton, fly out of CVG or Dayton's own airport, or drive. Dayton has no Amtrak station, so the Cardinal means getting down to Union Terminal first.

The Indiana side of the Tri-State has the same two choices as downtown: CVG for Atlanta, or the road north to Milwaukee.

D.C. is the other easy flight. CVG has nonstops to Reagan National and BWI, and Washington, D.C. runs May 21-23. The East Coast page lays out D.C., New York and Atlanta side by side.

What You'll Practice All Weekend

Our method is surrender-based, built on active release. You breathe first yourself, then guide one person, then a full room, and Ryan and Shelby correct you as it happens. The full curriculum is on the certification page.

Consent, boundaries and nervous system awareness run through every part of it. You also learn both ends of the breath, breathing more than the body needs and less, and how to guide someone safely through either.

Back home, you can keep up your own practice on the Roebling bridge walk or at an Eden Park overlook.

This is Breathwork teacher training for people who plan to lead groups back home around Cincinnati. We cover what to charge and how to fill your first classes, and mentorship keeps going after the weekend. 55 students enrolled so far.

Never tried it in a group? Our Breathwork Cincinnati class finder lists sessions around town.
