What You Walk Away With

Every path leads to the same place: the surrender-based method, a real facilitator credential, and the confidence to hold Breathwork for real people. You learn safe, trauma-informed facilitation and the business side of filling your first rooms.

Whichever format you choose, you train directly with Ryan and Shelby in a small cohort, and you keep the graduate community and mentorship long after your final day.

We built the online cohort for people who can't travel, or who simply want to start online. Whatever your reason, it gets you there. That said, if you can make an in-person intensive work, we always encourage it. Breathing in a room with your cohort is something a screen can't fully recreate.

What the Salary Sites Report

ZipRecruiter puts the average Breathwork facilitator pay in the United States at $49,766 a year, or $23.93 an hour (ZipRecruiter). It shows the middle of the range between $36,000 and $56,000, with the 90th percentile at $72,000 and the full spread running $22,500 to $85,000 (ZipRecruiter).

Read that carefully before you use it.

ZipRecruiter builds those numbers by scanning active job postings. Almost nobody posts a job titled "Breathwork facilitator." Indeed has no salary page for the title at all, and neither does Glassdoor. The number is real. The job market it describes barely exists.

Hear What Graduates Have to Say

Sisily Chevalier, Liquid Breathwork facilitator

Sisily Chevalier - Owner of Body by Sisily, LBW facilitator

“So grateful for both of you, Ryan and Shelby. You’re changing my life right as we speak ... the ladies both booked for next week for paid sessions.”

After getting certified she had paid one-on-ones and a group session booked in Santa Clarita.

Krystal, Liquid Breathwork facilitator

Krystal - Realtor, nurse, LBW facilitator

“I was really looking for something that was more gentle, more supportive ... and Liquid Breathwork delivered just that.”

She arrived a beginner, after one Breathwork class elsewhere that felt like a lot. She left certain that everything we need is already within us.

What Government Data Says About the Work Next Door

The Bureau of Labor Statistics does not track Breathwork. It does track the closest neighbors, and those numbers are collected from employers, not from ads.

Exercise trainers and group fitness instructors: median $47,160 a year, $22.67 an hour. The bottom ten percent earned under $28,800, the top ten percent over $83,100 (BLS, May 2025).

Massage therapists: median $58,450 a year, with the bottom ten percent under $33,640 and the top ten percent over $100,200 (BLS, May 2025). Thirty-six percent of them are self-employed.

That last number is the one that matters for you.

Most Facilitators Are Not on a Payroll

This is what the salary sites miss. Facilitators get paid per class and per session, not per year.

Published rates you can check yourself today:

  • Liquid Breathwork drop-in classes: $44 in the Phoenix metro and $33 in Flagstaff, Prescott, Tucson, and Lake Tahoe (our class page).
  • Breath.Energy in Tempe: $40 per session (Breath.Energy).
  • Unity Breathwork: $160 for a 1:1 online session, $180 in person, and $350 for a private group of 7 to 12 (Unity Breathwork).

Do the Math Yourself

Your revenue is seats times ticket price times classes. That is the whole formula.

At $44 a seat, ten people is $440 for one class. Four classes a month is $1,760.

That ten is an assumption, not a figure anyone can source for you. Put your own number in. Then subtract what you pay to rent the room, your insurance, and whatever it costs you to get people to show up. We have no studio, we rent space, so that rent is real for us too.

Nobody can tell you how many seats you will fill. That part is on you.

What We Will and Will Not Tell You

We are not going to promise you an income. We will show you what we charge, what the people down the road charge, and how the arithmetic works. You decide whether that is a business worth building.

Breathwork Facilitator Salary FAQ

How much do Breathwork facilitators make a year?

ZipRecruiter puts the United States average at $49,766 a year, or $23.93 an hour, with most falling between $36,000 and $56,000. That figure is built from active job postings, and posted Breathwork jobs are rare, so treat it as a rough signal rather than a salary. Most facilitators are paid per class and per session instead.

Do Breathwork facilitators get a salary or get paid per class?

Almost always per class or per session. Published rates right now include $44 for a Liquid Breathwork drop-in class in the Phoenix metro, $40 per session at Breath.Energy in Tempe, and $160 to $180 for a private one-on-one session at Unity Breathwork. Your revenue is seats times ticket price times classes, minus room rent, insurance, and marketing.

What does a Breathwork facilitator make in Arizona?

ZipRecruiter reports $49,372 a year for Arizona, about $394 below the national average, and ranks Arizona 35th of 50 states. That comes from job postings, so it tells you almost nothing about a self-employed facilitator filling their own classes.
