What You Walk Away With
You leave ready to guide two sessions on your own: our signature Liquid Breathwork session and a Rebirthing session, from the opening and the breath to consent-based touch and the close. You also learn trauma-informed safety.
Ryan and Shelby actively guide multiple sessions every month. We share the exact strategies we use to build community and keep clients coming back, so you can book your first paid clients.
Both formats end with the same certification, taught by Ryan and Shelby in a small cohort. In person is three days in the room. Online is 12 weeks of live group calls plus 60+ video lessons. The graduate community and mentorship stay with you after.
If you can travel, come in person. Breathing in a room with your cohort is the one part a screen can't give you.

What the Salary Sites Report
ZipRecruiter puts the average Breathwork facilitator pay in the United States at $49,766 a year, or $23.93 an hour. It shows the middle of the range between $36,000 and $56,000, with the 90th percentile at $72,000 and the full spread running $22,500 to $85,000.
Those numbers come from active job postings, and almost nobody posts a job titled "Breathwork facilitator." Indeed and Glassdoor have no salary page for the title at all.
What Government Data Says About the Work Next Door
The Bureau of Labor Statistics does not track Breathwork. It does track the closest neighbors, from employer data.
Exercise trainers and group fitness instructors: median $47,160 a year, $22.67 an hour. The bottom ten percent earned under $28,800, the top ten percent over $83,100 (BLS, May 2025).
Massage therapists: median $58,450 a year, with the bottom ten percent under $33,640 and the top ten percent over $100,200 (BLS, May 2025). Thirty-six percent of them are self-employed.
Most Facilitators Are Not on a Payroll
Facilitators are paid per class and per session. These are published list prices from single operators, not averages:
- Liquid Breathwork drop-in classes: $44 in the Phoenix metro and $33 in Flagstaff, Prescott, Tucson, and Lake Tahoe (our class page).
- Breath.Energy in Tempe: $40 per session.
- Unity Breathwork: $160 for a 1:1 online session, $180 in person, and $350 for a private group of 7 to 12.

Do the Math Yourself
Your revenue is seats times ticket price times classes. At $44 a seat, an assumed ten people is $440 a class, or $1,760 for four classes a month.
In our experience a well promoted group session can reach $500, so twenty-four a year is about $12,000 before privates, packages, or backend offers. We have charged $500 to $2,000 for a private session, and one ice bath and cacao class we ran alongside Breathwork, at $100 a person, drew twenty people and brought in over $2,000.
Then subtract room rent, insurance, and marketing. We rent space too. What is left depends on how you market yourself, so we will not promise you an income. Our Breathwork certification does teach how to market your Breathwork and fill your first classes.
