Breathwork Certification for Nurses

A Breathwork certification for nurses should be taught by someone who has worked a twelve-hour shift. Ours is. Shelby Von Oepen, a registered nurse of fourteen years, co-teaches every Liquid Breathwork cohort with Ryan. Train live online or in person in Phoenix, and leave with a skill that steadies you at work and a facilitator credential to guide others.

What You Walk Away With

Every path leads to the same place: the surrender-based method, a real facilitator credential, and the confidence to hold Breathwork for real people. You learn safe, trauma-informed facilitation and the business side of filling your first rooms.

Whichever format you choose, you train directly with Ryan and Shelby in a small cohort, and you keep the graduate community and mentorship long after your final day.

We built the online cohort for people who can't travel, or who simply want to start online. Whatever your reason, it gets you there. That said, if you can make an in-person intensive work, we always encourage it. Breathing in a room with your cohort is something a screen can't fully recreate.

Taught by Someone Who Has Worked the Shift

We will be straight with you. Most Breathwork trainings are taught by people who have never worked a twelve-hour shift. Shelby has, for fourteen years as a registered nurse, and she co-teaches every Liquid Breathwork cohort.

That changes how the physiology gets taught. You already know the nervous system. Shelby teaches the breath in that language, so nothing has to be translated.

  • Shift stress, handled from the inside. You learn a gentle, surrender-based breath that settles your own system before, during, and after a hard shift.
  • Calm that people can feel. A steady facilitator changes the room. You learn to bring that steadiness to a bedside, a hallway, or a hard conversation.
  • Nurses train together. Enroll with a colleague or two and train as a cohort that already speaks your language.

“So grateful for both of you, Ryan and Shelby. You’re changing my life right as we speak ... the ladies both booked for next week for paid sessions.”

What the Certification Gives You

Our Breathwork facilitator training teaches the surrender-based method Liquid Breathwork is known for. Train live online for $1,497 or in person in Phoenix from $1,697. Either way you earn the Liquid Breathwork facilitator credential.

The breath is only part of what we teach. You leave with the methodology, the trauma-informed safety training, and the business groundwork: pricing, marketing, and how to fill your first sessions. Mentorship from Ryan and Shelby continues long after your last day.

One thing to be clear about. This is a Breathwork facilitator certification, not a nursing credential. It sits alongside your license, it does not change it.

Gentle, Not Cathartic

Every Liquid Breathwork session is trauma-informed. The participant sets the pace, stays in control, and nothing is forced. We guide people inward through gentle surrender, never outward through screaming or forced catharsis.

Shelby's nursing years are why she reads bracing, shutdown, and overwhelm early, and teaches you to do the same.
