Does this count toward your Georgia license renewal?
Not yet. Georgia therapists should not count on these hours for Georgia renewal today.
The Georgia Board of Massage Therapy accepts hours from NCBTMB Approved Providers when the hours relate to the scope of practice of massage therapy (Ga. Comp. R. & Regs. 345-4-.03). The provider must also record attendance in CE Broker within seven days, and a licensee may not claim hours that are not recorded there. Liquid Breathwork is not yet set up to report in CE Broker.
The Board's continuing education page also says a course from an NCBTMB Approved Provider is not guaranteed Board approval, and it lists yoga and sound therapy among topics it will not accept. It has not ruled on this course.

Georgia Massage CE Questions
How many CE hours do massage therapists need in Georgia?
24 CE hours in each two-year renewal period, and 12 of them must include direct hands-on supervised instruction. Licenses expire on October 31 of every even-numbered year.
Does Georgia accept NCBTMB approved continuing education?
Yes, with conditions, and we do not meet all of them yet. The Georgia Board accepts hours from NCBTMB Approved Providers when the hours relate to the scope of practice of massage therapy and the provider records attendance in CE Broker. Liquid Breathwork is not set up in CE Broker yet.
Why does CE Broker matter in Georgia?
Because a Georgia licensee may not claim hours that are not recorded there. Georgia's rule requires the provider to enter the course in CE Broker and record attendance within seven days of completion.
Does this course count as Georgia hands-on hours?
We do not claim that. Georgia gives hands-on credit only when 70% of a course is direct application of touch, pressure, movement and holding to the soft tissue of the body.
Where can I find massage continuing education classes in Georgia?
Liquid Breathwork is bringing a live, in-person 24 CE hour course to Atlanta in March 2027, but it cannot be counted toward Georgia renewal yet.
