Every path leads to the same place: the surrender-based method, a real facilitator credential, and the confidence to hold Breathwork for real people. You learn safe, trauma-informed facilitation and the business side of filling your first rooms.
Whichever format you choose, you train directly with Ryan and Shelby in a small cohort, and you keep the graduate community and mentorship long after your final day.
We built the online cohort for people who can't travel, or who simply want to start online. Whatever your reason, it gets you there. That said, if you can make an in-person intensive work, we always encourage it. Breathing in a room with your cohort is something a screen can't fully recreate.
None of our trainings are in Louisiana, so from New Orleans this one means a trip. Two of them make sense.
Atlanta in March is the easy one. Delta, Southwest and Frontier all fly MSY to ATL nonstop, about an hour and a half in the air. Atlanta is on Eastern time, so you lose an hour going and get it back on the way home.
Milwaukee in June is the summer option, and a real trip. No airline flies MSY to Milwaukee nonstop, so plan a connection. Or ride the overnight City of New Orleans up to Chicago and take the Hiawatha the rest of the way.
Both run Friday to Sunday, 9am to 6pm. Venue TBD.
Louis Armstrong New Orleans International (MSY) is out in Kenner, 11 miles or so west of downtown. No car? RTA's Airport Express, route 202, and Jefferson Transit's E-1 both run between the airport and downtown.
Rather stay on the ground? Amtrak's Crescent leaves New Orleans Union Passenger Terminal every day for Atlanta's Peachtree station, with a stop in Slidell. It's a long day on the train. Driving is about 470 miles, most of a day's drive.
Land at ATL and MARTA takes you from the airport to Five Points or Midtown. You can skip the rental car.
Eyeing a Phoenix date on the cards above? American and Southwest both fly MSY to Phoenix nonstop.
Highs in the mid 60s, nights in the mid 40s. That's cooler than a New Orleans March, and you feel it most after dark. Bring a jacket and a rain layer.
Late March is pine pollen season up there. If tree pollen gets to you, pack your allergy medicine. You'll be breathing deep for three days.
Going in June instead? Milwaukee sits in the mid 70s by day and the high 50s at night, a real break from a New Orleans June.
Not in the city proper? Open the one closest to home.
Looking for Breathwork certification near NOLA from Metairie or Kenner? You're already on the Jefferson Parish side, and MSY is right there in Kenner.
Across Lake Pontchartrain, Mandeville, Covington and Slidell make up the Northshore, in St. Tammany Parish. The Causeway links the Northshore to Metairie, about 24 miles of bridge, and from there it's on to the airport.
Slidell has its own Crescent stop, so you can board the Atlanta train there and skip the drive into the city. Want a class before you commit? Try Breathwork near Metairie.
Looking for a Breathwork certification for Louisiana outside the New Orleans area? You may not need MSY at all.
Delta flies nonstop to Atlanta from Baton Rouge (BTR), from Lafayette (LFT) on Delta Connection, and from Gulfport-Biloxi (GPT) on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Most of south Louisiana can reach the Atlanta training from its own airport.

You learn the surrender-based method Ryan and Shelby teach, and you leave with the Liquid Breathwork facilitator credential. Here's the full curriculum.
Every session you learn is trauma-informed. Your client sets the pace. Nobody gets pushed toward a big release, and you learn the safety side: what to watch for, and how to slow a session down.
Then the business part: what to charge, how to fill a room, and how to run your first sessions back home. Your first breathers might be people you pass on the St. Charles streetcar or the paths of City Park.
