What You Walk Away With

Every path leads to the same place: the surrender-based method, a real facilitator credential, and the confidence to hold Breathwork for real people. You learn safe, trauma-informed facilitation and the business side of filling your first rooms.

Whichever format you choose, you train directly with Ryan and Shelby in a small cohort, and you keep the graduate community and mentorship long after your final day.

We built the online cohort for people who can't travel, or who simply want to start online. Whatever your reason, it gets you there. That said, if you can make an in-person intensive work, we always encourage it. Breathing in a room with your cohort is something a screen can't fully recreate.

Breathwork Training From Indianapolis: North or South

None of our trainings are in Indiana. The two closest sit in opposite directions from Indianapolis, Indiana, so you pick by month and by how you like to travel.

Milwaukee (June 11-13) is the closest, and it's a road trip. Head up I-65 and around Chicago. You cross into Central time in Northwest Indiana, so you gain an hour on the way.

Atlanta (March 19-21) is the flight. It's a short nonstop from IND, and your watch stays on Eastern time.

Both run Friday to Sunday, 9am to 6pm. Get to the room a few minutes early. We keep snacks out. Meals are on you.

In person in Milwaukee

Pack the car for I-65 in June or take the nonstop to ATL in March. Either way you spend the weekend guiding real people, and Ryan and Shelby tell you what to change before your next round.

Online from home

Skip the trip and keep your weekends free. Ryan and Shelby lead live group calls over 12 weeks, the video lessons fit around your work week, and you earn the certification the in-person group earns.

Drive North, Fly South

The drive to Milwaukee

No airline flies IND to Milwaukee nonstop, so from Indy the car is the simple way up. Plan on a half day's drive north. Chicago traffic sets the pace, so look at a Thursday afternoon in your maps app before you book a hotel.

Prefer the train? Amtrak's Cardinal runs only three days a week from Indianapolis Union Station to Chicago. In Chicago you switch to the Hiawatha, which runs 7 round trips a day (6 on Sunday) up to Milwaukee. Check the schedule before you build a weekend around it.

The flight to Atlanta

Delta, Frontier and Southwest all fly IND to Atlanta nonstop. When you land at ATL, MARTA's Airport station sits at the Domestic Terminal. The Red and Gold lines run north to downtown and Midtown.

Phoenix, if the timing fits better

Phoenix is a nonstop too. American and Southwest both fly IND to Phoenix, home of the soonest trainings in the cards above.

Packing for March or June

Atlanta in March means highs in the mid 60s, nights in the mid 40s. That's a real step up from an Indy March. It's a wetter month there, so pack a rain layer.

Tree pollen peaks in late March, and the yellow dust on every windshield is pine. Good to know when you'll spend three days breathing deep.

Milwaukee in June runs mid 70s by day, high 50s at night, and cooler by the lake. That's cooler than an Indy June. Bring a layer for the evenings.

Coming from across the Midwest

Where you live in Indiana changes the trip a little. Open the one closest to home.

Around Central Indiana: Carmel, Fishers and the north side

Carmel, Fishers, Westfield and Noblesville up in Hamilton County, or Greenwood to the south: your trip is the same as downtown's. IND serves the whole metro for the Atlanta flight.

The Milwaukee drive starts on your end of town. Pick up I-65 or US 31 north.

Want a class near home first? See Breathwork near Carmel or near Fishers.

From across Indiana: Bloomington, Lafayette, Fort Wayne and Evansville

Looking for a Breathwork certification for Indiana? The two trips on this page cover most of the state. Bloomington comes up through Indy and follows them from there. Lafayette is already on I-65 north for the Milwaukee drive, and heads down to IND for the Atlanta flight. Fort Wayne and Muncie face the same choice: Milwaukee by road or Atlanta by air.

Gary, Hammond and South Bend sit closer to Chicago than to Indy. Our Chicago page covers the Region and the South Shore Line.

Evansville and the far southwest corner run on Central time, the same clock as Milwaukee, so that trip keeps you on home time. Atlanta runs an hour ahead.

One more option: Washington, D.C. (May 21-23). IND has nonstops to Reagan National and BWI. That weekend comes before Memorial Day weekend and race day.

Sisily Chevalier, Liquid Breathwork facilitator

Sisily Chevalier - Owner of Body by Sisily, LBW facilitator

“So grateful for both of you, Ryan and Shelby. You’re changing my life right as we speak ... the ladies both booked for next week for paid sessions.”

“I was really looking for something that was more gentle, more supportive ... and Liquid Breathwork delivered just that.”

She arrived a beginner, after one Breathwork class elsewhere that felt like a lot. She left certain that everything we need is already within us.

What the Training Covers

It starts with your own breath. You go through the arc of a Liquid Breathwork session yourself (breath awareness, activation, relaxation and surrender, then integration) before you guide anyone else through it. The full curriculum lives on the certification page.

Then you practice on people who are really breathing, with Ryan and Shelby watching. Some patterns speed the breath past what the body needs and others slow it down, and you learn to guide people safely through both.

Trauma-informed work here is practical. You screen for contraindications and get a signed waiver, and nobody gets hands-on support without a clear yes.

You head home with a session you can run, a rate to charge for it, and a plan for your first paid group. Mentorship keeps going once you are back, and you join 55 students enrolled so far.

Curious how a group session feels from the mat? Our near-me page lists Breathwork Indianapolis classes run by other teachers.
