What Is Alchemy of Breath?
Alchemy of Breath is a Breathwork school founded in 2012 by Anthony Abbagnano, with naturopath Amy Rachelle as co-founder. It reports over 1,000 trained facilitators. It teaches trauma-informed conscious connected breathing from ASHA, a retreat center in the Tuscan hills about two and a half hours from Rome.
How the Training Works and What It Costs
The 8-month online training. 400 hours on their platform, weekly live calls with their Master Trainers, a year in their community, and a marketing toolkit. You graduate at a 7-day BreathCamp at ASHA. Tuition is $7,200, currently $5,900 for the November 19, 2026 cohort.
The 4-month residential. Twenty-one required days living at ASHA, breathing and facilitating daily, then about three months online. Tuition is $7,200. The next one runs September 27 to October 17, 2026.
Both paths start with a free discovery call. There is no checkout button.
On the online path, add 888 euros for BreathCamp and at least 761 euros for six nights of room and meals. That is about 1,650 euros on top of tuition, plus flights to Italy.
Who It Fits, and Who Should Look Elsewhere
Our verdict: Alchemy of Breath is an honest premium program with published tuition and clear terms. If you want a Tuscany retreat and a long program, $7,200 is fair.
Look elsewhere if you want to certify without leaving the country, have your teacher in the room from the start, or lead classes this season instead of next year. For Alchemy, SOMA Breath, Pause Breathwork, 9D, and the rest side by side, see our best Breathwork certifications comparison.
