Every fact below comes from their own pages, read September 28, 2026. We have not taken the training, so this is a read of what they publish, not a first-person account. It is a strong fit if you want a mentored online program with trauma-informed and business material built in. It is a weaker fit if you want a teacher in the room for more than a weekend.
What the Elemental Rhythm facilitator training is
Elemental Rhythm is a Breathwork method and facilitator training founded by Giovanni Bartolomeo, who goes by Gio and ran the Elemental Wellness studio in Toronto. Their about page says the method combined breath, movement, music and meditation. The facilitator training launched after the studio closed in the March 2020 lockdown, and more than 100 facilitators have since taken their certification programs.
The training teaches what they call the Elemental Rhythm Transformation System. It has three parts: rhythmic breathing cycles set to music, an "E.P.I.C. Awareness" visualization (Emotion, Perspective, Introspection, Contemplation), and "Timeline Weaving" for integration. Their FAQ describes the style as "a modern breathwork style grounded in ancient pranayama practices." Level 1 is the required first step before their Integration Coaching and Advanced Coaching programs.

The 16 weeks are spelled out on their program overview. Eight live mentored calls (about 12 hours), each offered twice a week so you pick the time. Six practice sessions guiding fellow trainees, four guiding friends or community, and six sessions received, each 90 minutes, for about 24 hours of live practice. One full session is submitted for written feedback. About four hours of recorded coursework, including a trauma-informed course written by graduate Dr. Amy Bjorkman. Budget 2 to 4 hours a week after the weekend; one page says 3 to 5.
Included after you certify: lifetime access to their app and platform courses (50 or more guided experiences), bi-weekly community calls, and marketing and business resources. The $17 a month membership on their store is a separate product for the public. The online training has an add-to-cart button on its product page, so you do not have to book the discovery call to enroll.
Who it fits
Their own answer is beginners and practitioners adding Breathwork to an existing practice, with no prior experience required. Beyond that, it suits you if you want sessions built around music and tempo, and a four-month container with weekly mentorship instead of one intensive. The coaching path afterward means you can keep going without changing schools.
What we liked
- The price, the payment plan total, the dates and the weekly hours are all on the page. You can decide before anyone calls you.
- The practice reps are counted: 16 sessions guided or received before certification, plus one reviewed session with feedback.
- Music is taught as a facilitation skill, with BPM and playlist structure per phase of a session, rather than left to taste.
- Trauma-informed coursework is required, and their FAQ publishes contraindications (pregnancy, seizure disorders, cardiovascular disease, and more).
What to weigh
- The live teaching is two days on Zoom. The other 16 weeks are calls, peer practice and recordings.
- In person means one weekend with Gio in Henderson, Nevada, or an educator-led weekend where one is scheduled. Everyone else adds travel or trains online.
- Their pages say the training is accredited through the International Institute for Complementary Therapists (IICT). We did not verify that with IICT; ask them what it covers where you live.
- Integration Coaching and Advanced Coaching are $3,000 each as separate tickets. The bundles only save money if you buy the whole path up front.
How Liquid Breathwork compares
We teach a surrender-based, trauma-informed conscious connected Breathwork, co-led by a Registered Nurse. Formats: a 3-day in-person intensive in the Phoenix area at $1,997, or a 12-week live online cohort at $1,497. Both are one tuition with no tiers after it, and both run on the same three pillars: Self and Breath Mastery, The Art of Facilitation, and Breathwork Marketing. We don't hold any third-party accreditation; graduates receive a numbered Certificate of Completion signed by both co-founders.
Elemental Rhythm is the better fit if you want a music-and-tempo driven method, a 16-week online container, and a coaching pathway after. The Liquid Breathwork certification is the better fit if you want your teachers in the room for three days and to facilitate live participants before you leave.
