This Jesse Coomer Breathwork Certification Review covers The Language of Breath Breathworker School, the hybrid breath coach certification sold at jessecoomer.com. What the Language of Breath certification is

The program trains breath coaches rather than teaching one signature technique. The certification page's pitch is that graduates understand the principles behind all major Breathwork styles, so they can design their own sessions, workshops, and courses instead of leading a single branded protocol.

The school describes its hybrid system as five components: the Language of Breath philosophy, a science-based curriculum, functional breathing mechanics, listening and emotional awareness training, and client-centered professional application (intake, session documentation, progress tracking). The learning outcomes list runs from assessing dysfunctional breathing patterns and teaching nasal breathing to working with athletes and trauma survivors, plus the business side: legal, ethics, marketing, social media, and client acquisition.

Jesse's three books are the required reading and come with tuition: A Practical Guide to Breathwork, A Practical Guide to Cold Training, and The Language of Breath.

Who it fits

• You want a principles-first education across many Breathwork styles rather than one branded method.
• You plan to coach one-on-one: athletes, executives, clients with anxiety or dysfunctional breathing. The intake and assessment training is aimed there.
• You want to study at your own pace with a weekly live check-in, then finish with a capstone.
• Cold exposure interests you. A cold training book is part of the required reading.

What we liked

• Tuition is on the page, with the upfront discount and payment plan spelled out.
• The learning outcomes are specific. Twenty-plus listed skills, from Breath Wave mechanics to session documentation, so you know what you are buying.
• Business training comes with both paths instead of being sold as an add-on.
• Functional breathing gets real attention. Assessing and correcting how someone breathes all day is a skill many facilitator trainings skip.

What to weigh

• Both capstones are dated: five full virtual days this November, or a Utah retreat in June 2027. Enrolling now on the in-person path means a nine-month wait for the retreat.
• The credential is a breath coach certification. Group sessions, workshops, and retreats are in the outcomes list, and so are intake, assessment, and progress tracking for private clients. If leading group Breathwork journeys is your main goal, ask how much of the capstone is spent on that.

How Liquid Breathwork compares

Different shape of training. Liquid Breathwork is a facilitator training built around leading group Breathwork sessions: a three-day in-person intensive in Phoenix ($1,997) or a 12-week online cohort on live weekly calls ($1,497), with payment plans on both. Ryan and Shelby teach every cohort. Shelby is a registered nurse, and safety and trauma-informed practice run through the curriculum.
