The whole path to certification fits in one residential week, and David teaches most of it himself. It doubles as personal healing work, with a full level on self-love and worth.
Weigh the logistics. Deposits are nonrefundable, two books and written homework come first, and lodging is shared or booked separately. Want to try the breath first? Our Breathwork classes are a smaller step.
These lessons cover where the two trainings differ most.
What we don't teach: his method. We don't teach or certify his two-stage Pranayama Breath Work, healing tools or altar practice. If you need those, train with him.

Yes. David Elliott started Healer Training in 2001 and expanded it to five levels. He wrote The Reluctant Healer and HEALING, and publishes his dates, prices and cancellation policy.
In October 2026 his site listed Levels 1 to 5 in New Mexico at $3,900 with shared lodging, or $3,200 staying offsite. Portugal tuition was $2,250, and online Levels 1 to 3 listed $675.
His site lists no third-party accreditation. Levels 4 and 5 complete his certification as a trained Breath Work practitioner.
He teaches a heart-centered healer training built on two-stage Pranayama Breath Work, mostly as residential intensives. We teach surrender-based conscious connected Breathwork and the business side, near Phoenix or online.
