The trauma-aware focus is real. Their curriculum names resourcing, pendulation and titration, and students practice 1:1 and group sessions before a practical exam.
Six months of supervised practice is a strong idea. Most questions show up once you start leading, and they keep support in place.
Weigh the full cost. The Costa Rica package includes lodging and meals but adds 13% tax, and leaves out flights and three weeks off work. The range is wide. If you want depth in one method, ask on their free discovery call.

These lessons cover safety, our closest match to the Kenaz trauma-aware focus.
What we don't teach: We don't teach or certify the Kenaz method, Shamanic Breathwork chakra work, water rebirthing, or Breathwork with an ice bath. If you need those, train with them.

Kenaz is run by lead teacher Patricia Udipti, who says she has trained Breathwork facilitators for the past five years. Its dates, venues, teachers, curriculum and prices are all published on kenazportal.com and the PachaMama event page.
In October 2026 Kenaz listed its training from €3,100, including certification and three vegan meals a day. The Costa Rica dates at PachaMama were $4,870 to $6,344 USD with 22 nights of lodging, plus 13% tax. They offer scholarships and installments.
Neither the Kenaz training page nor the PachaMama event page lists a third-party accreditation. Kenaz issues its own certification after the supervised practice.
