Registered Yoga Teachers can log this training toward Yoga Alliance® continuing education hours through the Subject Matter Expert pathway. One weekend in D.C. is 24 live hours, most of the 30 that Yoga Alliance asks for every three years.

We do not hold a training in Pennsylvania. Washington, D.C. is the nearest, and it comes first. New York follows on October 15-17.
From the new terminal at PIT, American flies nonstop to Reagan National. Nonstops also run to Dulles and BWI.
Reagan National has its own Metro station on the Blue and Yellow lines, so you can ride into the city and skip the rental car.
By car it is about 240 miles, half a day on the Turnpike. Leave Thursday and you are in D.C. well before the 8:45 arrival time on Friday.
One Amtrak train a day runs to Union Station by way of Connellsville and Cumberland. It is slower than the car, so ride down the day before.
Got a bike? The Great Allegheny Passage leaves from the Point and meets the C&O Canal towpath at Cumberland. Point to Georgetown is 335 miles of trail.
D.C. in May runs highs in the mid 70s and lows near 60. That is a few degrees warmer than home by day and about ten degrees milder at night. Bring a light layer and a rain shell.
Connellsville, Ohiopyle, Confluence and Meyersdale all sit on the Great Allegheny Passage. The daily Amtrak to Washington stops at Connellsville and Cumberland, so you can board there instead of heading into Pittsburgh first.
These towns are stops on the Pennsylvanian, Amtrak's one-seat ride to New York Penn Station. Getting to D.C. by rail from here means a change in Philadelphia, so the car or a flight out of PIT avoids the change.
New York, October 15-17, is the region's other date. The Pennsylvanian runs from Pittsburgh to New York Penn with no change of train. Same three days, same 24 live hours to log. See yoga continuing education near New York.
