What a Main-Stage Breathwork Session Looks Like
A conference room is not a yoga studio, and that is the point. Chairs go away, yoga mats go down, and a ballroom becomes a space where everyone can lie down at once. We bring the mats, the eye masks and the sound system. The organizer gives us a room and a time slot.
The session opens with a short introduction from the stage: what Breathwork is, what people might feel, and the reminder that they are always in control. Then everyone lies back, closes their eyes, and follows guided breathing cues set to a curated soundtrack. Sessions run 45 to 90 minutes depending on the schedule. People laugh, cry, and feel things they were not expecting.
Ryan holds the microphone and reads the whole room at once, adjusting the cues to how the ballroom is breathing. Shelby is up there with him, the same two voices people hear in a weekly class, only with a lot more mats in front of them.
The close matters as much as the peak. The last stretch of every session is a return to natural breathing, stillness, and time to land before anyone stands up. Nobody walks out of a ballroom mid-release. Everyone is grounded before they stand up.
Why Graduates Join Us on the Floor
Two people on a stage cannot kneel beside 83 breathers, let alone 150. That is where our graduates come in. At Fit Father Live, certified Liquid Breathwork facilitators spread out across the floor while Ryan and Shelby guide from the front. When someone's breath gets big, a graduate is already close by with a hand on a shoulder or a quiet word: quiet, hands-on somatic support.
For the graduates, a ballroom full of strangers is the best practicum we can offer. Our Breathwork facilitator training is built on real-room practice, and holding space at a conference is the real thing at scale. The ratio matters too: more trained facilitators on the floor means each breather has someone within reach.

In 2026 the large ballroom session held 83 people by our count. In 2025 it was about 150 in the room. Both years, the graduates on the floor kept a session that size feeling personal.
Partnering With the Fit Father Project
The Fit Father Project is a Liquid Breathwork partner. Its founder, Dr. Anthony Balduzzi, has had Ryan lead Breathwork at a Fit Father Project retreat in Sedona, and recorded a video testimonial about hiring him. Fit Father Live is the conference side of that relationship: the main stage, the ballroom, and two Augusts in a row.

How many people can a group Breathwork session hold?
