Registered Yoga Teachers can log this training toward Yoga Alliance® continuing education hours through the Subject Matter Expert pathway. The New York weekend is 24 live hours, most of the 30 Yoga Alliance asks for every three years.

We do not hold a training in Pennsylvania. New York is the closest, and you never need a car or a plane to reach it. Locals call William H. Gray III 30th Street Station just 30th Street, and that is where the trip starts.
The Acela and the Northeast Regional both stop at 30th Street. Ride north about 70 to 90 minutes and step off at Moynihan Train Hall at Penn Station.
Class starts at 9am, so a room in the city on Thursday night beats an early train on Friday.
Take SEPTA's Trenton Line to Trenton and change to NJ Transit for the rest of the way into New York. One joint ticket covers both.
It costs less than Amtrak. Check the weekend timetables before you count on it for the Sunday ride home.
New York in October runs highs in the 60s with cooler nights, a few degrees under Philly. Pack a layer for the walk from the train.
South Jersey rides the PATCO Speedline over the Ben Franklin Bridge into Center City, and 30th Street is a short hop from there.
Wilmington has its own Acela and Northeast Regional stop, so you board the same New York train without changing at 30th Street. The ride just starts a little further south.
Out west, Ardmore and Paoli on the Main Line have Keystone and SEPTA service into 30th Street. Keystone trains from Harrisburg, Lancaster and Exton often run through to New York, so check whether yours does. If it does, you stay in your seat the whole way.
Washington, D.C., May 21-23, is about two hours south of 30th Street on the same Amtrak line, into Union Station. Expect highs in the mid 70s. Same three days, same 24 live hours to log. See yoga continuing education near Washington, D.C.
PHL is an American Airlines hub, and SEPTA's Airport Line runs to 30th Street about every 30 minutes, so a teacher flying in can be on a northbound train without a rental car. PHL is also the airport to fly from for our Phoenix training.

Your own practice may start on a bench in Rittenhouse Square or along Forbidden Drive in the Wissahickon. In New York you learn to guide a full Breathwork session for a room, from the active breathing through the holds to the rest after.
You practice on real breathers and get feedback right away. Back home, close a class with it, or build it into a weekend workshop at the studio where you teach.
