Registered Yoga Teachers can log this training toward Yoga Alliance® continuing education hours through the Subject Matter Expert pathway. Three days in New York add up to 24 live hours, most of the 30 Yoga Alliance asks for every three years.

We do not hold a training in Rhode Island. New York is the closest, and Providence station sits right on the line that gets you there.
The Acela runs from Providence station to Moynihan Train Hall in about three and a half hours. The Northeast Regional takes closer to four.
Day one starts at 9am, so ride down Thursday evening and sleep in the City.
Driving is a few hours down I-95.
T. F. Green in Warwick has a nonstop to JFK, and an elevated walkway links the terminal to its own MBTA stop. The train still skips the airport transfer altogether.
New York in October feels like home in the afternoon, and nights run a few degrees milder than a Providence October. Pack a layer.
From the East Side, Fox Point or Federal Hill, Providence station is a short trip. Cranston and East Providence border the city, so the same goes for them. Pawtucket and Central Falls have their own MBTA stop one station north, and the commuter train pulls into the same station as Amtrak.
The East Bay Bike Path starts at India Point Park and runs through East Providence, Barrington and Warren to Bristol, so East Bay teachers already know the road to downtown. From Tiverton, Newport, Fall River or New Bedford, the trip to New York starts at Providence station too. Boston-area teachers can compare the yoga continuing education near Boston page.
Skip the drive north. Northeast Regional trains stop at Kingston and Westerly on the way to New York. The Acela runs straight past Kingston without stopping, so check which train you book.
Washington, D.C. runs May 21-23. The Acela takes about six and a half hours, so fly instead: T. F. Green has nonstops to Reagan National, Dulles and BWI. Same three days, same 24 live hours to log. You already cue the breath on the mat. In New York you learn to hold a whole Breathwork session, from the active breathing through the holds to the stillness after.
You guide real breathers in the room while Ryan and Shelby give notes. Back home, end a vinyasa class with it, or build a Sunday workshop around it at the studio where you teach.
