Registered Yoga Teachers can log this training toward Yoga Alliance® continuing education hours through the Subject Matter Expert pathway. The D.C. weekend is 24 live hours, most of the 30 Yoga Alliance asks for every three years.

We do not hold a training in Virginia. D.C. is the closest, and the train is the easy way up. Don't bother flying: RIC has no flight to Reagan National.
Staples Mill Road, out in Henrico County, is the quicker ride. The Northeast Regional gets you from there to Union Station in 2 to 2.5 hours.
Closer to downtown? Main Street Station, the 1901 building in Shockoe Bottom, has its own GRTC Pulse stop. The ride from there runs a little longer.
About 100 miles straight up I-95. Check Friday traffic in your maps app before you pick a time to leave.
The venue is TBD, so plan parking once the address lands in your inbox. With a 9am start each day, a room near the venue beats commuting.
D.C. in May runs mid 70s in the afternoon and near 60 at night, with rain on about a dozen days. Richmond runs a bit hotter by day and cooler at night. Pack a light layer and a rain jacket. If Riverrock is on your calendar, check its dates against the training weekend once they're out.
North of the city, skip the drive back down to Richmond. The Northeast Regional stops at Ashland, Fredericksburg, Quantico and Woodbridge on the way to D.C., so board at whichever one is closest. Arlington and Alexandria are covered on the yoga continuing education near Washington, D.C. page.
Petersburg has its own station on the line, so the Southside can start the trip there. From Chesterfield or Henrico, pick the Richmond station that is easier to reach: Staples Mill Road for the quicker ride, Main Street if you live nearer downtown.
You have a way north that never touches I-95. A daily Northeast Regional starts in Roanoke and stops at Lynchburg, Charlottesville, Culpeper and Manassas on its way to Union Station.
New York, October 15-17, is the same Northeast Regional, a little over 6 hours with no change. RIC also flies nonstop to LaGuardia, JFK and Newark. Same three days, same 24 live hours to log. See yoga continuing education near New York.

You guide real breathers in the room while Ryan and Shelby give notes. Back home, end a vinyasa class with ten minutes of it, or build a weekend workshop around it.
