Registered Yoga Teachers can log this training toward Yoga Alliance® continuing education hours through the Subject Matter Expert pathway. The Tahoe weekend gives you 24 live hours, most of the 30 Yoga Alliance asks for every three years.

Our first Lake Tahoe training ran August 21-23, 2026, and we come back for one weekend in 2027. It is the closest in-person training we hold to Reno. The lake straddles the state line, and we teach on the California side, at the south end. The training page has the rest: yoga continuing education at Lake Tahoe.
Take I-580 to Carson City, then US-50 up into the basin. Plan on about an hour.
Doors open at 8:45, so leave early enough to be in your seat for the 9am start.
The South Tahoe Airporter runs daily from Reno-Tahoe International to Stateline. Pickup is through Door D, at the end of baggage claim.
On the South Shore, Lake Link gives free on-demand rides, booked in its app.
The South Shore sits above 6,200 feet, so drink more water than you think you need. Late July runs highs near 80 and mornings near 40, so bring a warm layer for the first session. Summer can bring wildfire smoke, so check AirNow.gov that week.
Carson City is about 40 minutes from the South Shore up US-50, and Kingsbury Grade is the steeper two-lane way in from the valley. See yoga continuing education near Carson City.
Truckee is about an hour away. From Kings Beach or Incline Village you drive around the lake to reach the South Shore, so leave extra time. See yoga continuing education near Truckee.
