Truckee sits north of the lake and we teach at the south end, on the California side. Lake Tahoe is the only place we teach in the Sierra, and the only training we hold in Northern California in 2027. Our first one ran August 21-23, 2026, and we come back for one weekend.
About an hour each way. Doors open at 8:45 and we finish around 6, so a day runs roughly eleven hours door to door, three days in a row.
The upside is your own bed all three nights.
Book a room at the south end and skip the early drive. Lodging and meals are on you.
Lake Link runs free on-demand rides around the South Shore, booked in its app.
Pack for the South Shore. It sits above 6,200 feet, so drink more water than you think you need. Late July runs highs near 80 and mornings near 40, with almost no rain, so bring a warm layer for the 9am start. Check AirNow.gov that week, since summer can bring wildfire smoke.
On the North Shore, the lake sits between you and the training. You drive around it, so leave extra time on Friday, when doors open at 8:45.
Reno is about an hour from the South Shore, and Carson City about 40 minutes. Each has its own page: yoga continuing education near Reno and yoga continuing education near Carson City.
Phoenix is home for Liquid Breathwork and holds other weekends, a 2-hour nonstop from Reno-Tahoe International. See yoga continuing education near Phoenix. After Tahoe, our nearest in-person city is Salt Lake City, Utah, April 30 - May 2, 2027, about an hour and a half by air from Reno. See yoga continuing education near Salt Lake City.
“So grateful for both of you, Ryan and Shelby. You’re changing my life right as we speak ... the ladies both booked for next week for paid sessions.”
After getting certified she had paid one-on-ones and a group session booked in Santa Clarita.
“I was really looking for something that was more gentle, more supportive ... and Liquid Breathwork delivered just that.”
She arrived a beginner, after one Breathwork class elsewhere that felt like a lot. She left certain that everything we need is already within us.
Hear from past students as they went through our June 2025 training.
A short look at what a full Liquid Breathwork session actually looks like from the inside.
Sells out a women’s only class every month.
Fourteen years a registered nurse, and Ryan’s star student. She has kept those classes full for over two years.
“I felt like that one session of Breathwork was more impactful than multiple sessions of EMDR that I received in therapy.”
He now guides Liquid Breathwork along with practicing as a clinical psychologist.
Leads Breathwork at music festivals.
Gem & Jam and Peak State in Austin, 20+ people on the grass.
“The training gave me the confidence to speak with knowledge about breathwork ... the experiencer is put more at ease and able to go deeper knowing that what is happening is normal and ok.”
He has run a class or two every month since April under his own brand.
“The group calls are supportive and range from business growth to breaking down student’s teachings for feedback.”
Weekly classes, held so consistently that three of her breathers came and got certified in Liquid Breathwork too.
You already cue the breath on the mat. At the lake you learn to guide a whole Breathwork session, from the first rounds of breathing through the holds to the quiet rest after.
You lead real breathers in the room, and Ryan and Shelby give you notes right after. Back in Truckee, close a class with it, or offer it as a workshop where you already teach.
Four lessons yoga teachers reach for first.
